Responsible for the accurate observation, measurement and timely submission of the airport's weather parameters and information (METAR & SYNOP codes) to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service as well as the airport's Control Tower.Airports: Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras" (RHO), Karpathos National Airport (AOK)

Part of a globally distributed team that focused on provisioning, monitoring & supporting critical internal engineering tools & services, following SRE principles. Our goal was 24/7 availability and stability of all services, infrastructure (on-premise & Cloud) cost efficiency as well as reduction of toil via automation of common tasks and procedures. Responsibilities:- Operated on an On-Call schedule offering support to other engineering teams & ensuring availability of on-premise and cloud infrastructure and services (internal CI/CD environments, SCM tools and Static Code Analysis tools)- Provided support related to our Jenkins-as-a-Service (JaaS) offering (~130 Jenkins instances), which included support for Azure VM based Dynamic Jenkins agents and Kubernetes (AKS) based Jenkins agents- Created dashboards (Grafana) that offered real time monitoring of the Organization's Kubernetes based Jenkins agent usage utilizing Azure Monitor & Azure Log Analytics - Utilized IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) to configure and upgrade internal tools & services (e.g. AKS Clusters)- Contributed to the team's efforts to achieving reduction of Cloud costs (identified systems with low usage, automated cleanup of Kubernetes workloads via CronJobs etc.)

Part of a Scrum team who focused on identifying, managing and collecting metrics about High Value Assets (HVAs) as well as detecting and remediating potential vulnerabilities on them via the deployment of security agents. Responsibilities:- Configured monitoring agents across hosts - Managed Zabbix metrics and templates (both custom and out-of-the-box)- Conducted research around the capabilities of available monitoring solutions in regards to application, system & network monitoring.
