- Responsible for the integrity management of assets within the SPU.- Instrumental in the development and review, of projects documentation, design philosophies, risk management and safe operation of Marine & Engineering Systems on all FPSO units and offshore support vessels in the Angola Strategic Performance Unit (SPU).- Ensure that the complete marine systems integrity is met during the design, construction and operational phases of the assets’ (FPSOs) life cycle.- Manage & monitor engineering risks within all engineered marine systems across the SPU (Strategic Performance Unit). - Responsible for the development of SPU Site Technical Practices (STPs) relating to all engineering & marine systems as well as Technical review of all Business Units and major project STPs and exceptions relating to engineering/marine systems and interfaces for FPSOs.- Provide assurance to the Group for all marine/floating vessels within the SPU.- Deliver on all HSSE commitments relating to marine/floating vessels within the SPU.- Execute Risk, and Safety assessments in support of large projects.- Lead/Chair HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA & LOPA studies, Operating procedures Reviews, Peer Reviews, and Peer Assists across different disciplines.- Provide Project management for small & medium size projects (up to $ 50 M) using Capital Value process. Represent BP in wider industry forums.
