Marine Engineer/ Naval Architect, holder of a BSc and MSc in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University Upon Tyne and Strathclyde University respectively. Familiar with the implementation of Class Rules and IMO regulations after finishing a three months formal training by the ABS classification. Gained sea going experience as a third engineer and previously as an apprentice engineer in various types of vessels. Had the opportunity to participate in major machinery repairs, but also be involved into the formulation and evaluation of various guarantee claims and develop skills concerning vetting inspections requirements and port regulations.
