• Install new / rebuild existing servers/computers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements• Managing vessels telecommunications• Provide initial response and manage problem resolution process for outages and problems• Assist I.CT manager in strategic planning and in development of the annual IT dep. budget. • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting systems, workstations and network issues• Train users in operation of hardware and software as needed• Installation, operation and maintenance of FBB terminals• Provide initial response and manage problem resolution process for outages and problems• Assist in server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, OS upgrades and troubleshooting.• Monitor and tune network equipment performance.
