Nik Thompson received his B.A. from UC Berkeley and J.D. from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law (ASU). During law school, Nik contributed to Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Nik was also selected as a Senior Fellow at the McCarthy Institute, founded by world-renowned author of the multi-volume treatise, McCarthy on Trademarks and Unfair Competition Law, cited in over 7,000 judicial opinions.As an attorney, Nik has gained experience on a range of matters including complex commercial and business litigation, insurance coverage and defense, professional liability, labor and employment law, personal injury, construction law and contract claims. In addition, he has effectively counseled local associations on issues involving corporate governance, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, and intellectual property law. Outside the office, Nik loves to spend time with his wonderful wife, Jessica, and their sweet dogs Cali and Finnegan. He also enjoys wine tasting, traveling abroad, coaching soccer, and volunteering in the community.
