As part of my placement I developed a new charity campaign called The Big Give. Through the campaign we collected over 1.2 tons of unwanted items from students moving out of their accommodations and the local residents. These items included books, clothes, small appliances and more. Through the collections many re-usable items have been saved from the landfill. Furthermore the streets with student housing complexes were kept clean from excess rubbish, thus more appealing to the local community. In addition to developing the campaign, I have created a sustainability event plan to help promote the campaign in the future.

While undertaking my placement option at Bournemouth University, I was given the option to work a full 30 weeks or 15 weeks of work and a semester abroad. As I enjoy travel and understand the importance of immersing oneself in other cultures I decided go abroad once more to further my studies in hospitality and events.

- Developed promotion material and catalogues listing inventory and available services- Managed the company's 40 plus nationwide cell phones and contracts. - Assisted others in achieving their goals with the use of the computers and cellular devices.- Managed corporate hospitality suites for the Toronto Indy race from 2009-2011. - Maximized profits through constant price and term negotiations for necessary equipment rentals on job sites nationwide.

- Assisted in the various events and trade shows that the College participated in- Student orientation leader- Student Leadership Academy- Model for promotion materials and website

- Developed and improved skills through on the spot and pre-planned lessons for children ages 4-12. - Relayed important lesson plans and methods for improvement to the parents.- Taught several first time skiers, and was often chosen first amongst a group of more than 10 instructors to do so. High referral rate amongst parents and supervisors.
