Oversaw and spearheaded the solution to my department’s Tandem rework project ensuring that all our incorrect tandems and the associated $682,000 worth of required parts for repair were sent back to be reworked to meet production needs. This project required me to coordinate a multi-faceted team of 25+ people across 3 states to ensure that the correct parts were moved on time to the appropriate sites. This project was highly time sensitive and achieved the exact number of 120 corrected tandems were either being reworked on site or at our external work site to be fit for production use. The 3-week oversight of this project saved 3 weeks’ worth of production totaling $16,800,000 of on time delivery of Motor Grader units out to our customers. Ideated, developed, oversaw, and completed a CI project coordinating a multi-functional team of 30+ members that reorganized and restructured my organization’s laydown area resulting in increased team cohesiveness, part drop-off time to POU by 90%, OPSX by 30%, and the correction of all safety concerns within the restructured area.Reduced and proactively prevented factory wide Cost of Good’s Initialized amount by $900,000 over the course of 10 months. Taking on this responsibility has been vital to cost reduction and inventory accuracy within the factory. Became a board member to lead and improve the Fillmore Elementary School partnership with John Deere Davenport Work’s. Since being on the board, I have pushed for further initiatives to support the school and students alike. Such as school supply drives and aiding a fundraiser for the school for $50,000.Champions inventory accuracy for John Deere. I have thus far completed 260+ audits on internal inventory over 10 months to correct major inventory discrepancies. For all items corrected I have ensured that the material is dug deeper and is brought back in line to be auto delivered to the factory compared to a more expensive manual order.
