As a developer of digital musical instruments I specialize in producing acoustic instruments from various cultures of the world. My aim is to faithfully reproduce the instruments within their specific musical culture, and to create instrument libraries that are targeted both to amateurs and experts.When producing an instrumental library I'm responsible for most main tasks – from the initial concept and idea, the organizing and execution of recording sessions, up to creating the user experience and actual instrument programming.Having initiated the "Discovery Series" in 2009, the series by now consists of various titles that focus on a specific musical culture, like West Africa, Cuba, India, the Middle East, East Asia and Ireland. The "Spotlight Collection" is constantly being revised and expanded.Please note: in 2014 I changed my last name from "Marinic" to "Jeroma" by taking the name of my beloved wife. And feel free to call me Nicki (which everyone else does).
