As the lead undergraduate research assistant for the Regional Economic Indicators Forum, a comprehensive research initiative I was committed to monitoring and collecting data of publicly traded companies that had a significant impact within the region. I accomplished this goal by conducting financial analysis on the equity performance highlighting the growth and volatility, then developing an index examining measures of future performance with comparisons of the industry averages and market indices. I worked closely with my peer counterparts who analyzed additional economic trends such as the nonprofit sector, business, and consumer confidence to ensure a correlation between our findings for our report/presentation. I accomplished this goal by determining the forgone income of attending university, debt accumulation of fees and tuition, and the education premium of increased pay after graduating then compare the internal rate of return of obtaining a bachelor's degree with alternative capital investments such as U.S. treasury bill and common stocks. As an intern at Octane Capital, I provided compressive support for the credit and sales team in projected elated activities, compliance reports, conducting client borrow searches and inputting data in a customer relationship management database. This goal was accomplished by compiling the client's historical transactions to determine a credit profile and then I would calculate the client's approved loan amount based on credit history, type of loan, and specifications of the property. I worked closely with the structured finance team in developing for the client a repayment strategy with flexible interest options.
