I continued my work on the AppBridge Content Migration Platform, after being acquired by Google, given the huge success and excellence of the company.One of our clients was actually located in Brazil, so I once was able to help them solving a migration issue, mixing my technology skills and my Portuguese proficiency.My last 6 months were alternated between working remotely and in the Belo Horizonte office, which developed my autonomy and adaptability.

First international experience, my biggest goal here was definitely to improve my English, and I successfully did it!I worked with a small team of very talented people to improve the Content Migration Platform, using APIs from different sources such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, Dropbox, Citrix and Box, with Google Drive and GSuite products as target services. We used as technologies: C#.NET, Angular.JS, MySQL and MongoDB.Some of my goals were implementing the Microsoft Exchange to Google migration, which includes the migration of services such as Mail, Contacts and Tasks; implementing the WebDAV to Google Drive migration; adding the option of a pre-created Google Drive folder path where all the content should be migrated to.

First experience with a multi-national company. I was part of a team that worked on the improvement of a robust private security system, focused on armoured car logistics and control of operations, routes and values. We were constantly in contact with other international branches, from Argentina, Mexico and India, to get information to our weekly task planning.It was also my first contact with desktop development, using VBScript to create Windows DLLs and VB.NET to create Windows Forms, integrated with SQL Server database.

This was my first time working in a start-up company. Here I worked with a small team to create an exam management platform, with a complex writing test correction component. For that, we used Python and Django in our back-end code, Angular.JS and the Bootstrap framework in the front-end and MySQL as a database server.As one of my main goals, I calibrated the component that corrects the multiple-choice questions in the writing tests and also created a space where the teachers could do manual correction.

My first full-time job. I was working at this time in a medium sized company (150 employees) with a bigger development team (about 20 other developers). My role was to make improvements and bug fixes in a robust e-learning management system (LMS), using VBScript to build Windows DLLs, ASP for the back-end web development and jQuery for front-end. The database would vary depending on the client, but mainly SQL Server and one big customer (Embraer) using Oracle. I also had my first contact with SCRUM and agile methodologies.For 6 months, I was the exclusive software developer for one of our biggest clients, the university Estácio de Sá. I had to be in contact with them daily via video conference and sometimes even physically.After a couple of years, I became the System Improvement Team Leader, and also replaced the Development Team Coordinator when he was away. This experience developed my leadership skills, by managing a team of 8 to 15 software developers.

This internship was my first contact with software development and the beginning of my passion for it. I had a chance to work with a team of initially 3 people who were absolute masters in computing network and guided me to start building a health monitoring system for the city network, by using our internal APIs. This project was made for web, using PHP as back-end, simple HTML and CSS for front-end and database PostgreSQL.
