In 2015 I started a degree in computer science at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where I took the computer engineering itinerary, topics what more called my interest where Embedded RTOS and Linux deployment, Computer architecture, Computer networks, and parallel/distributed programming preferentially in C/C++ and Python.In the meantime, got interested in Rapid prototyping and Digital Manufacturing techniques and applied them thru side projects using development boards based on Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi families. Along the way, CAD design and PCB Design topics appeared, and did some bits in the field using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Eagle products and learn how to make these objects using mainly 3d printers.At some point wanted to share some bits of this knowledge, so learned some web page design and development, and digital content creating with tools like Adobe Suite and Canva. After some fails I understood, a product is not for the joy of the developer, but for the user, so I gained interest in UX and product design, and as projects gained in complexity, project management seemed necessary, so to tackle these topics i decided to study on my free time some MOOCs about this topics.This allowed me to participate, at first, as a part-time STEAM teacher in schools and computer faires from 2018 to 2020, and during 2020 and 2021 full-time designing and teaching diverse courses where we introduced students to IT Topics such as Digital Marketing or Project Management.I combined this Jobs with my mandatory scholarship at Oceanographic Robots Division (ROC) at SIANI (University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) where I automatized a fixed-wing propulsion system for A-Tirma autonomous sailboat, integrating a 3d printed mechanism into the mainframe actuated by a Zigbee based MCU and linking this device to the main boat controllers and, with my final degree thesis, a 3d printed home automated micro-grow setup based around ESP32-CAM dev board with a custom PCB.This led me to the challenge that I'm actually tackling, at Real-Time Innovations, a company which is building a smarter world through our data-centric communication software framework, where I'm part of the Platforms team, which is in charge of making that our software works seamlessly in over 70+ different platforms (combinations of OS + CPU arch), learning and applying knowledge about different toolchains, compilers and linkers, and in the use of tools such as CMake or Jenkins, and different kinds of, mainly, in-house developed Python tools applied mainly to testing.
