• Develop an omnichannel assortment strategy and continuous optimization of the company’s assortment
• Build a strategy based on sales, stock, geolocation, cross and upsell, online versus offline, GFK data etc.
• Group the stores in clusters and develop a core assortment per cluster based on the most optimal assortment
• Optimize stores’ selling space through space and floor planning methodology
• Work with the logistics team to develop an availability strategy and targets to ensure that there is always the right stock at the right place at the right time

• Develop category strategy based on financial expectations, category role, category performance, customer and product trends, competitive landscape and AB differentiators
• Promotions annual plan
• Negotiations with Suppliers - Work with suppliers to develop and execute meaningful programs and manage brand/item performance
• Work with Space Management tool to translate assortment plan into a merchandising plan and store-level planograms. (Blue Yonder / JDA)
• Category price strategy - develops pricing tactics to achieve financial and customer objectives
• Ongoing analysis of category performance, trends, and competitive assortment and pricing.

• Supporting category strategies emphasizing in category role, visual merchandising and strategic planograms (through space & floor planning methodology, Blue Yonder / JDA)
• Category assessment
• Designing advanced reports and innovative tools to improve decision making and the overall performance of the business
