I am delighted to announce that I am beginning a new chapter in my academic career as a visiting professor in Harvard medical school. I will be in the department of Pediatrics in the program of cellular and Molecular Biomedicine associated the Harvard cell biology and Boston Children hospital. I am excited and honored to be joining such a distinguished institution and look forward to working with the talented faculty and students at Harvard medical school and form a bridge with my lab in the Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen. My work has focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of protein biomolecular recognition and how this is translated to cellular responses, by combining states of the single molecule microscopy and quantitative, often machine learning driven, image analysis. At Harvard, I will continue to explore these fascinating areas of biology and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to advance our understanding of cellular processes.I am very thankful for the funding that supported my career from Villum foundation, and also NovoNordisk foundation and Carlsberg foundation. A great thanks to my lab in UPCH the dedication and hard work of which made it possible to successfully complete a wealth of breakthrough projects
