Formerly a founding partner at Aspen Advisors, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund with offices in Colorado and New York, Nikos Hecht focuses on bankruptcy investing. At both Aspen Advisors and in his prior position as an analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, he was primarily involved in investing in bankrupt companies. He was also responsible for managing several billion dollars of investment capital at these two firms and pioneering the restructuring and bankruptcy areas of Aspen Advisors. During his 14 years leading the hedge fund, Nikos Hecht established and maintained an elite performance track record.Outside of work, Nikos Hecht is an accomplished tennis player. He began playing tennis while studying for his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied history and finance. The number one player on the University of Pennsylvania varsity tennis team, Nikos Hecht served as captain of the team and earned several awards as a competitor.Beyond tennis, he owns one of the world’s largest watch collections, which includes several historical and premier Philippe, Rolex, and Patek pieces. He also collects coins and wine.
