Coming from a background in Mathematics (BSc from AUTh), I had a brief pass from freelance math tutoring, then engaged to tech press and finally worked my way from developer, to product manager, to R&D manager for MLS.On July of 2014, I moved to the newly found M&T to work among old friends as the product director. We created the fluo brand. Reception of the brand was so good, that we almost instantly expanded with a company branch in Turkey and on 2017 a new branch in China became necessary. So, on June of 2017, I moved to Shenzhen to setup our Chinese branch and continue as its general manager.Being a maker at heart, while in Shenzhen -the worlds electronics Mecca-, I decided to explore the city's flourishing maker ecosystem and convert some of my hobby electronic design projects to commercial products.By 2019 I was totally taken over by the city's ability for rapid manufacture. Sourcing consumer electronics didn't cut it for me anymore - I wanted to become part of the making. So, on March of 2019, I farewelled my old buddies at M&T and moved to Micro Manufacturing, an EMS contractor, where I still work as its CTO.Even though I live and work in Shenzhen, I come from Thessaloniki.With no particular order, I love math, electronics, travelling, running, trekking & cycling.
