Nikos Vasiliou was born in Athens in 1965 and has a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in saving energy in lighting systems and in developing projects with specifications for the energy efficiency of buildings.He has been the CEO of the company BRIGHT SPECIAL LIGHTING SA since 1984 the year it was founded and deals with the development of the company (sales, marketing and product design department). The company BRIGHT SPECIAL LIGHTING SA is among the most modern and dynamic companies in Europe, with international recognition for the design, production and selling of lighting fixtures. The company has export activity in more than 35 countries in Europe, Asia and America.Since 2006 he has been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he is Chairman of the foreign trade departments of Australia, India, New Zealand and Malaysia. He is also responsible for EuroCommerce for the Internal Market and Consumer Affairs. He is also an elected member of the Board of Directors. of the Hellenic Business Administration Company (EEDE), elected member of the Board of Directors. (ELKE), Chairman of the Quality Council of DQS Hellas, member of the Entrepreneurship Club, member of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development and finally member of the Association of Enterprises and Industries (SEV). He has also been a member of the KIPEAA. Nikos Vassiliou has participated in the "greek building materials" & "greek building services" initiative in the "Great Living" for hotel equipment and business missions for OPE, in India, Australia, Turkey, Russia & United Arab Emirates.He is married to Mrs. Lilian Vassiliou Kartsatou and has two children. He speaks Greek and English.
