After spending two months delving into extensive literature on the flight maneuverability of birds of prey, my current project involves the development of advanced simulation software designed to dissect and comprehend bird flight behaviors.Building upon this foundation, I've successfully crafted a 6DOF quaternion physics model and implemented a closed-loop control system using MATLAB. As I look forward to the upcoming semester, the goal of the project is to augment the complexity of our simulation. This involves adding intricate features that mimic the extraordinary maneuvering capabilities exhibited by birds, driven by their high degree of freedom body morphing

Part of the team of three conducting fly testing and maintenance for Whisper Aero using provided subscale model. We are using provided sound recording equipment to measure the noise levels produced by the provided aircraft model while performing various missions.

Developed 6-DOF dynamics model for an aircraft using quaternion formulation of equations of motion in ECI frame. The goal was to recreate "6DOF ECEF (Quaternion)" block from "Aerospace Blockset" using only default MATLAB/SIMULINK functions. Also, produced technical documentation on the developed software.

Working on designing, assembling and conducting fly testing using inhouse manufactured subscale eVTOL vehicle. Employed Controller Area Network (CAN) bus on the vehicle. Designed, tested and integrated various subsystems including tilt mechanisms. Over the summer of 2022 led a team of three undergraduates in conducting fly testing and getting transitioning data for NASA to assist in control laws development.

As a part of the Advanced Class team at the Design Build Fly Club, I had the opportunity to participate in SAE Aero Design international competition. In my capacity as team lead, I guided a team of five students in the assembly and flight testing of a balsa wood aircraft that was built in-house. Through this experience, I also gained valuable expertise in aircraft design, from the initial stages of development to creating detailed design CAD. As a team, we were placed first in 2021, second in 2022 and first in 2023 out of 45+ competing teams from all over the world.

As a Student Worker to the Office of International Education I was primary responsible for supporting a living learning community for 50 international student including both full time Georgia Tech and exchange students. Some of my responsibilities included:- Ensuring healthy community building within the dorm. Providing assistance to visiting exchange students with acclimatization in new cultural and academic settings - Maintaining communication with administration to keep them informed about issues within the dormitory, creating purchasing lists for community items requested by the students- Event creation and management to foster comradery and intercultural cooperation within the dorm - Assisting with information sessions for incoming international students

As a Learning Assistant, I was part of a team of undergraduate and graduate students who provided academic support to students enrolled in various courses at the university. I primarily supported students in AE2220: Dynamics of Rigid Bodies, using my expertise and knowledge to help them achieve their learning goals. Some of my key responsibilities included:- Attending course lectures and actively participating in activities to help students better understand the course content - Holding weekly office hours and offering one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions to students seeking extra help or clarification on course concepts- Collaborating with course instructors to design exam questions- Providing feedback to instructors on student progress and course effectiveness, and suggesting ways to improve the teaching and learning experience

As a Conference Assistant, I was part of a student team responsible for providing excellent customer service and logistical support for various events hosted by the university's Conference Services department. Some of my key responsibilities included:- Providing on-site event support, such as setting up event spaces, managing equipment and technology, and addressing any last-minute issues or concerns of the guests-Interacting with event attendees and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and communication-Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth event operations and effective communication among all stakeholders

As a part of toastmasters international I have dedicated my summer effort towards improving my public speaking and presentation skills. Over the course of three month I have completed unit 1 within my "Motivational Strategies" Pathway and have delivered three speeches. The speeches delivered were on the topics of:- Ukraine to USA: My personal recounts a move from Ukraine to the US at 16. The story underscores two lessons: trusting friends to surprise you and using challenges as opportunities for growth.- Academic research journey: The speech showcases advances in the field of engineering and urges reflection on personal growth and encourages continuous exploration within one's field and beyond.- The art cigars: The speech explores the history and revival of the cigar industry, provides tips on choosing and enjoying cigars, and encourages embracing life's simple pleasures as a source of serenity amidst a fast-paced world.

During my summer study abroad in France, I took an online course from Georgia Tech's main campus that focused on utilizing System Modeling Language (SysML). As the final deliverable for the course, I created a model of the Power and Propulsion Element for the Artemis mission. Specifically, I was responsible for modeling the sub-elements of the system, including both low and high power hall thrusters as well as an energy generation unit. This experience allowed me to develop a strong understanding of SysML and its practical applications in modeling complex systems.

As a college freshmen I was responsible for manufacturing origami specimens for PhD students working in Origami Lab under Dr. Glaucio Paulino. Also, I worked on the project of investigating Helical Structures with Switchable and Hierarchical Chirality. I produced test specimens for the project and presented my findings in front of fellow lab members. It was my first deep dive into the world of college research and I learned a lot by being the only undergraduate in the lab. Seeing the implementation of scientific method, documentation, paper publication process, state of the art research and PhD experience in general prompted me to continue research as undergraduate
