• Crown House was responsible for the full M&E fit out of the £1 billion+ St James project involving 150,000sqm of retail, residential and luxury hotel suites. As a mechanical section engineer, roles included;
• Managing the fire detection and suppression systems subcontract package including automatic sprinklers, dry risers, fire water pumps and tanks
• Reviewing specialist design to ensure adherence to design intent & contract requirements
• Coordinating fire services with the M&E modeling team including adapting the initial design to suit modularized pipework fabrication and installation to align with Crown House strategy
• Supervising subcontractor labour to guarantee productivity and observance of safety procedures
• Arranged regular meetings with the client and structural and M&E design contractors to approve variations to the initial contract based on fire specialist feedback

Scottish Power HQ, Glasgow

• Diverse engineering responsibilities involved in completing the final stages of a state-of-the-art, innovative office building including managing subcontractor labour requirements and work forecasting, punch-listing.
• Completed all required Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications and courses required for engineers working in the United Kingdom

• Responsibilities in Planning and Project Controls compiling daily and weekly reports for clients and internal review, progress tracking and forecasting, formulating work plans and look aheads, reviewing and updating.

• Reviewed all construction areas (steel structures, excavations, concrete foundations, rail alignment, piping, pumping stations and extraction air ducting) daily to assess progress and monitor areas of uncertainty in.
