I work part-time on the floor at Atmosphere. Atmosphere is a division of FGL (Sport Chek, Nevada Bob's, etc.) that specializes in high-end adventuring gear. I love the gear and I love helping people into the right gear.

I have been teaching drums at the new Long & McQuade facility since they opened a lesson center. I combine general music theory with musical creativity in my lessons, given that I currently teach younger students.

I worked full-time with the Waskesiu Wilderness Region to develop and execute an ongoing social media plan for us and our partners. Research, coordinating, relations and presentations are all part of the job. I am the people person for the organization, whether it is working promotions at a trade show or sitting down and talking with business owners in the.

The Ness Generation (NessGen) stage is dedicated to showcasing Saskatchewan's young talent! This year the performers' ages range from 16 to 21. My partner and I were in charge of everything from talent selection to putting on the show at Ness Creek.

I was on the board of directors for the Ness Creek Cultural and Recreational Society. I was also a member of the revenue generation board for year-round operations. These jobs involved board-level strategic decision making, as well as relations with the community and the operational staff.

Rosthern, SK

I worked as a lifeguard in Rosthern for a month in the summer; this job included out of town commuting. My duties were fairly standard for a lifeguard: supervision, rescue/first aid administration, public relations, cashier, and closing.

A coworker and I developed a workshop to teach the Alumni Relations group how to conduct a focus group, then presented it to ~20 Alumni Relations staff over the course of 3 hours. The module we developed and taught included lecture-based lessons (from basic terminology to more advanced concepts of branding), an hands-on scenario, and a discussion period.

This summer I aided in marketing efforts with The Exhibition at Prairieland Park. I took care of most of the promotions before the fair. I also organized and put on the Mascot Parade, as well as helped organize and run the Youth Talent Search during the fair. In addition, I managed shifts for the information kiosk workers.

I was a front line employee at Homestead Ice Cream for two summers. I served customers and dealt with complaints and queries. Front line employees also had duties of general restocking and upkeep of the facility. If you ever see the "Nutana Mudslide" ice cream flavour for sale (named after the decay of riverfront property in the Nutana area around 2012).

Christopher Lake, SK

I began working at this summer camp in 2008, and was promoted to head lifeguard in 2011. Duties included lifeguarding children, evaluating fitness tests, administering first aid, as well as other general camp counselor duties.

This was the first real summer job I had. My duties included organizing pallets of fruit inventory, delivery of fruit inventory to the retail locations, and general upkeep of the warehouse facility.
