Your Money Auction Day is a 6-hour show every Saturday on Foxtel 601 and Channel 95 focusing on everything from buying, selling and investing, to prestige properties and commercial real estate. It also features a dynamic mix of live auctions, dream homes and expert interviews covering all things property - from auction strategy to renovating, building, architecture and design.My role was to lead a small team of three, consisting of a junior producer and the show’s two hosts in creating 6-hour weekly programming focusing on everything from buying, selling and investing, to prestige properties and commercial real estate. Responsibilities:- Conceptualise and develop fresh programming for Auction Day, including conceiving show and segment ideas. - Conduct extensive research, book guests, write scripts and source vision.- Plan, line produce and edit the show.- Lead and motivate a small team to produce creative content.Achievements:- Successfully led the team in creating highly informative and compelling real estate show.- Produced market-shaping segments that teach viewers how to buy, sell, renovate and design their homes.- Developed stronger relationships within the industry while expanding my database of expert contacts.- Helped lift the show's image and viewerships.

As a writer and associate producer, I was tasked to help the show’s senior producer in writing scripts, covering press conferences and booking guests for CNN International’s morning and evening programs.Responsibilities- Conduct extensive research and book guests for all shows across CNN International.- Help produce global shows out of Hong Kong with Atlanta and London- Coordinate and cover breaking news locally and globally.- Write scripts and create business segments for CNN International shows.- Help plan and produce magazine type shows such as Auto Week out of Hong Kong.- Produce business news updates from Hong Kong to CNN’s Atlanta and London Bureaus.- Work closely with the senior producers and anchors in creating compelling daily shows.- Monitor trends and events and made sure all top business stories were covered.- Create compelling graphics for the featured stories.Achievements- Instrumental in booking and interviewing high-profile guests including Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, President Gloria Arroyo, President Karzai and other newsmakers for CNN’s daily shows and Breaking News coverage.- Received CNN’s “Employee of the Month” award in December 2003 for outstanding contributions to show production.

As an assistant producer, I was tasked to write scripts, produce short packages andbook guests for all the shows.Responsibilities- Help write and produce breaking news stories out of Asia Pacific and globally.- Assist the senior producer in creating compelling daily shows.- Conduct in-depth research and pre-interview high-profile guests- Report on the big financial stories out of Hong Kong and around Asia.- Write scripts and stories for shows such as CNBC’s Squawk Box, Power Lunch, Asian Market Wrap and the Asian Wall Street Journal.- Expand the news footage library.Achievements- Successfully arranged and conducted interviews with prominent figures such as Vint Cerf, also known as one of the fathers of the internet, former Philippine Pres. Joseph Estrada, Hong Kong governors Chris Patten, and Tung Chee Hwa, celebrities like Cindy Crawford and Jackie Chan among others.- Assisted in the successful coverage of the 1997 Hong Kong Handover to China.- Helped launch the Dow Jones Interactive in Hong Kong.
