- Managing overall set-up of both commercial and non-commercial trials. Performing detailed feasibility analyses to find out whether the Trust has the capacity and capability to carry out the trial. - Carrying out detailed review of the information pack received from the sponsors including the protocol, IRAS, patient information sheets, consent forms, regulatory documents such as the Ethics, HRA and MHRA approvals to gain valuable understanding of the study. - Managing detailed budget analyses and negotiations with regards to commercial studies. Liaising and negotiating with the sponsors and/or CRO in order to finalize the budget and agreement within the stipulated period.- Performing sense-check of budget for non-commercial studies in lines with the ACCORD guidelines.- Responsible for collating management information for divisional research management's review in order to gain approval. - Responsible for managing and maintaining data quality in LPMS (DOCUMAS) and ensuring that the study team also updates recruitment so that there is smooth flow of data into CPMS. - Responsible for increasing portfolio of commercial research.

Nilabhra has worked as a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Associate for Homerton University Hospital for around two years. His responsibilities included:• MDT management of cancer patients for tumor sites including Lung, Gynecology, Sarcoma, Breast and Brain (including preparation, coordination, documentation and follow-up of administrative actions from the MDT meetings) to ensure that all patients are discussed (in line with the NHS cancer plan/cancer reform strategy).• Monitored priority patient target lists and ‘track' all cancer patients' pathways in real time to ensure they are seen diagnosed and treated within the cancer waiting times targets.• Identified delays in patient pathways that might result in a breach of the targets and taking appropriate action to prevent breaches.• Where there are potential breaches, immediately escalate the details to the MDT lead clinician, appropriate business support manager and service delivery manager, assisting with any subsequent actions as required.• Communicated with all levels of staff, other hospitals within and outside the network, GPs and patients to obtain or verify relevant information relating to cancer waiting times and to share best practice.• Contributed to the collection and analysis of audit data and project work (Open Exeter, Accident and Emergency Audit, Histology TAT audit, Outpatients Service Quality Audit)for assessing service development needs, service improvement processes, suggesting action plans to ensure that appropriate outcomes are implemented and delays in the patient pathway are reduced.
