Mr Nilambar Rath is the Founder, Editor-in-Chief & CEO at OdishaLIVE Media Network, a leading media production company with its HQ at smart City Bhubaneswar, India. The company runs a bouquet of web and social channels, under the brand of OdishaLIVE. It includes the news portal www.odisha.live which is empanelled with I & PR Dept., Govt. of Odisha.Prior to his media entrepreneurship career (since 2012) Nilambar was heading ETV News - Odia as the founding Editor and operating from Ramoji Film City HQs in Hyderabad. He was escalated to the rank of Network Editor at Eenadu TV group. Nilambar also had the position of founding Editor of News18 Odia, the 24x7 news channel & was the Head of Odisha operations. During his tenure at ETV Network, he was involved in the core activities of the 12 channels network covering content linked with Operations, business and technology management. As the Head of News at ETV Odia, he was the brain behind the content strategy and managed the news operations in Odisha from 2003 to 2009. Nilambar is having over 25 years of experience in media covering Print, Television and Online. He is a former Chairman, Media and PR Committee of Utkal Chamber of Industry (UCCI), the oldest industry association of Odisha. Has developed passion in media teaching. As a visiting faculty, Nilambar was teaching on a diverse subjects covering television and online media. Nilambar was into television anchoring in Doordarshan as a freelancer and was a regular news anchor at ETV News Odia handling regular newscasts, special programmes, Talk Shows and live shows.
