With over 36 years of extensive museum experience, I bring expertise in appraising African and Asian textiles, American quilts and coverlets, rugs, kilims, lace, and embroideries.My expertise extends to documenting and evaluating diverse textile and fashion collections. As curator of Textile and Fashion Arts at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA), I dedicated my career to this esteemed institution since 1986. My contributions have been recognized with multiple NEA grants and prestigious awards within my field. Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving on advisory boards for national textile and costume professional organizations.
