• Observing daily operations of the company and the work of executive teams• Designing and implementing the business strategies, plans and procedures• Establishing policies to promote the company’s culture and vision• Leading the staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication• Performing evaluation by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

• Coordinate services, staff, procedures policies, and functions of Peyvand Laboratory• Train, supervise, and evaluate all testing and support personnel• Direct and assist other professional staff in making clinical judgments• Responsible for reviewing and revising Laboratory procedures and policies as required by regulatory agencies• Responsible for drafting written manuals describing the required policies and procedures• Responsible for laboratory quality control and quality assurance programs; supervise and monitor the quality of test results through participation in external proficiency test programs as required by regulatory agencies• Responsible for budget requests for supplies and equipment;• Prepare and processes all necessary paperwork and maintains appropriate records;• Meet with vendor representatives to discuss and evaluate new equipment and test procedures• Monitor the cost-effectiveness of all Laboratory services and calculate a fee schedule for all diagnostic testing• Supervise and monitor the proper disposal of biohazardous waste generated by the Laboratory, including collection, packaging, labeling, handling, and tracking• Report communicable disease findings as required by regulatory agencies

• Follow established procedures and evaluates and solves problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis• Operate and maintain equipment, recognize equipment malfunction, troubleshoot and repair as necessary• Assist in training and orientation of laboratory staff • Recognize abnormal test results and answer inquiries about them, the methodology, specificity, and sensitivity; answer questions about specific factors that can influence test results• Participate in ordering and monitoring levels of inventory, preventing stock-outs• Participate in planning and budgeting for equipment and supplies• Establish Preventative Maintenance schedules and ensure that they are completed• Monitor compliance with Laboratory Safety Policies

• Responsible for overseeing the day to day activities in the laboratory, including supervision of laboratory personnel, quality assurance, and overseeing the collection, analyzing, and ultimate use of lab data• Perform routine clinical laboratory tests done in hematology, chemistry, immunohematology, microbiology, immunology, and coagulation• Sample collection and handling• Sample testing• Collection and interpretation of data• Maintenance of accurate records and reporting of data• Daily instrument maintenance and quality control

• Receive, label, and analyze samples (blood, tissue, etc.)• Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations, and interpret findings• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods• Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
