Recently retired as branch head for Navy, Joint, & Urgent Requirements, with 33+ years of demonstrated, successful experience in Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Navy Staff Leadership. I most recently led and managed all aspects of Navy's JCIDS, JROC/JCB, Resources & Requirements Review Board (R3B), Gate Reviews, and urgent requirements (UONs, JUONs, and JEONs) efforts. My previous experience includes program management and systems engineering for Navy UAVs (Firescout, UCAV-N, JUCAS), F/A-18 communication systems (including systems integration, installation design, retrofit and production of radios, MIDS, and digital (VMF and Link-16) messaging), F/A-18 Reconnaissance Systems, and ATE development.My goal is to continue to make a difference as an acquisition professional in the Aerospace and Defense industry, leading, managing and advising teams and major defense acquisition programs.Specialties: Member of the DoN acquisition corps, DAWIA Level 3 certified in Program Management (PM) and Systems Engineering (SPRDE). My most recent position worked directly for the Director of Navy Programming, a 2-Star Admiral. I regularly briefed & advised 3 and 4-Star Admirals, including the current Navy N8 and the VCNO. I have expertise in DoD PPBE process, DoN POM/Budget build and submission & all aspects of Defense Acquisition.
