Investigating hurdles & bottlenecks of Energy Sharing in Spain and showcasing a potential adaptation to GermanyReceived the FEL-Auslandsstipendium from the Deutsche Energie Agentur (DENA) in order to conducted research in Barcelona, Spain, focusing on the concept of energy sharing and its adaptation to Germany. My project was part of DENA's Future Energy Lab (FEL), where I explored the potential of 'autoconsumo colectivo' for sustainable energy solutions in both Spain and Germany. This experience has propelled me into the forefront of energy innovation.

Creating a platform enabling neighbors to share solar energy, promoting localized energy distribution. Pivoted to a hardware-based model, installing solar panels on large rooftops (schools, warehouses, sports halls), allowing neighbors to rent portions of the installation and consume clean energy from their share. In a landscape where Energy Communities were entirely novel, I played a pivotal role in shaping and launching the first commercial energy communities in these regions.My multifaceted role involved a range of responsibilities, including financial modeling of diverse business cases, facilitating business development efforts, and serving as the crucial link between the marketing and technical teams. This experience allowed me to gain deep insights into the intricate world of energy communities and to contribute to pioneering development of the Next Big thing in the energy sector.
