Investigating hurdles & bottlenecks of Energy Sharing in Spain and showcasing a potential adaptation to GermanyReceived the FEL-Auslandsstipendium from the Deutsche Energie Agentur (DENA) in order to conducted research in Barcelona, Spain, focusing on the concept of energy sharing and its adaptation to Germany. My project was part of DENA's Future Energy Lab (FEL), where I explored the potential of 'autoconsumo colectivo' for sustainable energy solutions in both Spain and Germany. This experience has propelled me into the forefront of energy innovation.

Creating a platform enabling neighbors to share solar energy, promoting localized energy distribution. Pivoted to a hardware-based model, installing solar panels on large rooftops (schools, warehouses, sports halls), allowing neighbors to rent portions of the installation and consume clean energy from their share. This research involved the intricate task of mapping Energy Sharing concepts from Spain, Italy, and Greece onto MATLAB simulations to discern their impacts on end-users. This exploration not only expanded my understanding of sustainable energy but also fueled my passion for driving innovation in the renewable energy sector.

Pioneering the Creation of the First Commercial Energy Communities in Spain and ItalyI was at the forefront of an innovative and groundbreaking initiative, responsible for supporting the implementation of pilot projects focused on "Citizen Energy Communities" in Spain and Italy. In a landscape where Energy Communities were entirely novel, I played a pivotal role in shaping and launching the first commercial energy communities in these regions.My multifaceted role involved a range of responsibilities, including financial modeling of diverse business cases, facilitating business development efforts, and serving as the crucial link between the marketing and technical teams. This experience allowed me to gain deep insights into the intricate world of energy communities and to contribute to pioneering development of the Next Big thing in the energy sector.

Guiding Electrical Engineering Students on Foundational ConceptsAssisting nw electrical engineer students by facilitating weekly tutor sessions for approximately 50 participants in the "Grundgebiete der Elektrotechnik I" module, in which I delivered insights into foundational electrical engineering concepts. This experience allowed for the refinement of teaching skills and the embrace of a mentorship role, contributing to the development of the next generation of electrical engineers.
