Supervisors at Tomra were very happy, those at the university not so much, as I "did mostly approach the topic from the perspectives of biology, physics and mathematics instead of using established jargon and methods of business psychology." I'll wear that as a badge.Used classical ML for feature extraction, cranked up data quality by hand and fed the entire thing into a DL-Classifier that was used for tagging more images and quality control. Iterated till happy.
