As Blueshift's creative leader and cofounder, Nils directs the design team at a high level while working closely with clients to validate that the right problem is being solved before crafting the correct solution. I'm also very comfortable in front of decision-makers among our clients, and believe I help make people confident in their design choices, and ultimately, comfortable in working with us as the trusted partners they know will always have their back.”On a creative path from early on in his life, Nils has been an artist and designer since he was a kid. He officially launched a branding and print design company in 2008, where the initial focus was branding and identity design, but he quickly moved to digital and interface design. “To me, design is great when it solves your problem, then gets out of your way until you barely notice it,” said Nils. "I absolutely love when clients are thrilled with the work we do for them. And I love that impactful work with happy clients leads to referrals – and meeting new people and solving new problems.”To Nils, his ideal client is an individual or company with a wild idea that is interesting and fun to work on. “If there’s a socially-good component to their mission, better yet. But also, I feel the need for our clients to truly to understand and realize the value we bring to the table and see us not as vendors but as partners invested in furthering their success.”
