My passion is to lead industrial processes towards greater sustainability, higher quality end products and economic feasibility. 🌱My journey started when the issue of "feeding the world" became more and more important and insects were proposed as one solution. At that time, I supported my colleagues at GEA in developing and optimizing the first large-scale wet extraction processes for insect protein, fat and chitin. We made an early investment that was later very well received by the insect industry and is now the basis for state-of-the-art processing! This was a building block that would later become part of the protein transition. ✔️In my new position, I help our customers find the right process and machinery (separators, decanters and ceramic filtration) for their desired product.
