About Nils Olofsson

I have a master's degree from the Applied Mechanics programme at Chalmers University of Technology, where I have focused my studies on solid mechanics and FEM.During the spring of 2022 I conducted my Master's thesis at the Volvo Cars Safety Center, using the THOR dummy in a generic car buck to evaluate injury risk functions.I also started my firts job as a CAE Analysis Engineer at the Volvo Cars Safety Center, within the lowspeed and pedestrian team where I have now specislized with pedestrian crash safety performance.I am also a representative in the Volvo Cars traffic accident research team (haverikommissionen) with a special focus on pedestrian accidents.
