At HeronTrack we focus on innovative solutions for the Construction and Glass Industry. The team excels in processing data from tens of thousands of devices, then transforming these datapoints into actionable insights for our users. We specialise in data engineering and analytics, developing user-friendly web and mobile applications for field personnel or logistics managers and reporting to the C-suite. Our tool streamlines operations, enhances productivity, and ensures real-time data accessibility. Key responsibilities include advancing technology in equipment management, optimising inventory and cost control, and integrating anti-theft measures. My role is build a top tech team, and scale the Cloud Architecture on Azure (IoT hub, event hub, etc.) to millions of IoT devices sending 100's of millions of data points per day.

I co-founded Woorank (bootstrapped), a SaaS tool offering website analysis and SEO optimisation tools serving 3000+ monthly paying users globally (50% US, 30% EU, 20% rest of the world). We initiated the development process to identify a product market fit, then crafted a freemium business model and continued to improve to keep up with the ever changing digital marketing landscape. We built a self-managed technical team with a focus on quality, resulting in a software stack and scalable cloud infrastructure to gather and process data from millions of webpages daily, built and maintained by a small team of 8 engineers.* WooRank was acquired by Bridgeline Digital ($BLIN) in March 2021.

As advisor to the CTO, I helped the engineering team in the decision-making processes related to hiring, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure. I provided guidance and recommendations to help the company make strategic and informed decisions to move fast, but also build a strong and secure foundation to scale the product.

As Team Leader and Scrum Master I managed the team of responsible for the e-commerce channel of all telco products (internet, phone, TV). I ensured we followed an agile framework to deliver quality software on time and within budget, leading daily stand-up meetings and helping team members work towards their professional development goals. I collaborated with other teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve impediments.

Led the teams building CMS platforms, centralising content management and powering websites for all brands (Officieel Playstation Magazine, Chief, Clint, P-magazine, etc.) with Drupal, Wordpress, etc.
