Henni und Toto verfolgen ein klares Ziel: Sie wollen herausfinden, was es mit dem »Sinking Man« auf sich hat. Ein Video, das 2015 viral ging und einen Mann zeigt, der durch eine Wand glitcht und seitdem als verschollen gilt. Ort des Verschwindens sind die alten Werkstätten des Theaters in Ehrenfeld, wo dieser früher als Hauswart tätig war. Unter dem Vorwand, einen Fernsehbeitrag über einsame Berufe zu produzieren, beraumen sie ein Interview mit Joris van Doorn an – Bruder und Nachfolger des »Sinking Man«. Die Hallen scheinen zunächst verlassen. Doch je länger das Dokumentarteam durch das Gebäude läuft, desto mysteriöser wird es: Räume verändern sich, Pflanzen wachsen durch Wände, Türen erscheinen und verschwinden wieder, bis sich letztlich eine Parallelwelt auftut, die Backrooms, in denen andere Gesetzmäßigkeiten gelten und die alle Beteiligten in ihren Bann ziehen.Zwischen Schauermärchen und Alternate Reality-Game entspinnt sich ein labyrinthartiges Netz aus Familiengeheimnissen, Verschwörungstheorien, aus der Glaubhaftigkeit von Bildern und der wahnhaften Suche nach der »einen Wahrheit«. Roman Senkl, der unter dem Label minus.eins die Möglichkeiten von Virtuellen Welten und interaktivem Storytelling erforscht, entwickelt ein Projekt über das 2019 auf 4chan entstandene Internetphänomen »Backrooms« auf Twitch.

Earlier this year we have reached a new milestone with the production of "Pan´s Lab". The production took full advantage of current technology and took a step towards defining digital theater. Pan´s Lab is nominated for the "Der Faust" Award 2022

Developing a Video Game for the Stageplay: Alienation. (Link in Media). Goal of the Videogame was to create an interactive component for viewers of the Theaterplay, to influence the Play in real time.

As part of the Minus.Eins artist collective we´ve set up the Berliner Festspiele and Theatertreffen 2021 from the ground up. I was responsible for managing my team of 3D artists and delivering 3D content for the festival itself.

As part of a bigger collaboration, I was tasked with a multitude of new projects. Creating 3D renderings for their announcement of the new Academy that is being built. Working for the Berliner Festspiele and Theater Treffen and many more.

How does Socia Virtual Reality affect culture, art, and education? The goal of this research was to find out if students feel a noticeable difference between distance learning over Microsoft Teams and Zoom as opposed to Social VR Environments such as Mozilla Hubs.The resulting papers were submitted to the "ICIDS 2021 : International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling"

As the pandemic made on-site festivals almost impossible, the Ars-Electronica was one of the first institutions to dare the jump into the digitality and host a significant amount of the festival online. This project was the biggest online festival that has been held in Mozilla Hubs at that time.My job was concepting, designing and creating 30+ Mozilla Hubs rooms for the festival.
