As the accountant at the Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort, I worked collaboratively with the Accounting Manager and Controller to ensure the Resort's Book of Accounts was up to date and free from error. My primary responsibilities was data entry, reconciliations, and forecasting. In addition, I would periodically assist the controller and accounting manager with unique internal consulting to ensure the organization's departments were running efficiently and effectively.

As a Senior level associate, my role was to lead by example within the department with daily work, as well as assist others with complex situations and escalations as they come up. In addition, I served as the department liaison between multiple groups including trade related areas, our information systems areas, and research. In this role, I was the primary data collector and analyzer of department statistics to enhance our performance.

In my time at Atwell, I was given the responsibility to build their natural gas operation from the ground up. I collaborated with team leaders, and developed the business brief for natural gas. I was also given the responsibility to build the client database for their natural gas operation. Aside from the natural gas business development I conducted, I was also the lead for a CIA report with juwi Wind, LLC. Atwell ended up receiving the work from juwi Wind, LLC from the proposal I put together.

Istanbul, Turkey

For the month of May, I ventured to Istanbul, Turkey to work for the financial department for a subcontractor of Yapi Merkezi. My primary duty was to revise their English documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Also, I spent some of my time assisting the head of the finance and accounting department with financial reports and structuring work hours for the construction workers.
