Living on a full-rigged wooden ship your working environment is ever changing; from repairing blocks and tackles, to hoisting the mainsail or climbing the rig to take in a reef, you have to be ready to act in an instance. A watch leader has no time for procrastination.Sailing Götheborg proved to be a real test of my physical abilities, as well as, my people skills, whilst learning everything there is to know about 18th century merchant vessels. -
