Nils Wich-Glasen Email and Phone Number
In the world of competitive swimming, I’ve transitioned from an NCAA All-American student athlete to guiding the development of athletes at Gator Swim Club. My coaching philosophy is a culmination of lessons I learned as an athlete and clinician aimed at maximizing both mental as well as physical progress. My approach is simple: understand the individual to elevate the team. Whether it’s tailoring training to the nuanced needs of sprinters or distance swimmers, or integrating cutting-edge research for recovery strategies, my goal is to develop a path for each athlete that is as unique as their stroke. As a leader, I’m recognized not just for my strategic thinking and sports coaching skills, but for the less tangible traits—adaptability, decisiveness, and an unrelenting commitment to excellence. These principles have guided me in my roles from a professional athlete with the University of Florida’s elite postgraduate group to being one of the top-rated clinicians at the world’s largest swim clinic company, Fitter and Faster. Now, as I navigate the coaching waters, I aim to infuse my learnings to cultivate not just swimmers, but well-rounded individuals who can excel both in and out of the pool. I’m looking to connect with professionals who share a passion for sports, education, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
