Launched Salsa Project – 14 new two-doors, no-frost refrigerator models in 2 footprints with variant/PNCs for 8 South East Asian countries.3. Implemented cost reduction projects that achieved over 19Mi THB ($613k USD) over first year of production.4. Improved quality through the reduction of NRFT (Not Right First Time) and SCR from 11% to 3.8% through design changes.

1. Project leader – compact Side by Side project - New range of 809 mm wide models, 2 brands and 4 SKUs.2. Project leader – coordinated the design and development of a new range of mid-capacity no-frost refrigerators, specially designed for New Zealand market, 2 platforms (8 SKUs).3. Project leader – managed the conception, planning and definition of the new Ophir Bottom Mounts. Design and development of the Ophir Bottom Mounts range, 3 platforms in 3 brands, total of 36 SKUs. 4. Reduced the number of specific Bottom Mounts parts, reaching up to 70% level of commonality with Top Mounts, reducing manufacturing complexity, product cost, investments and inventory costs.5. USA Bottom Mounts Project: to be made in Australia to export to USA. Benchmarking of USA Bottom Mounts models (slide out and side open freezer doors). Size, platform, model range, and volume calculations. Features, performance and specification sheet established. Estimated investments and timing. Developed packaging and container specifications. Created bill of materials, labor & transportation costs. Project put on hold due to high Australian dollar exchange rate.

Brazil

1. Elsa Project - development of three No Frost Top Mounts models in a partnership with Samsung Electronics CO – South Korea. 2. Development of test procedures based on Samsung best practices (undisclosed procedures). 3. Worked at Samsung/Kwangju/Korea to finish drawings, evaluate performance, noise, electrical tests, and tooling try-outs.4. Development of alternative suppliers: evaporators, defrost heaters, sealing parts, etc…5. Coordination and development of one-door refrigerators: R360, R260 and top mount refrigerators: D330, D440 and DC360. 6. Designed metallic, plastic and vacuum forming parts, engineering specifications, product parts lists. Rigidity improvement in foamed cabinet, (refrigerators and up-right freezers) reduced service call rate.7. Led project work groups, involved working directly with various areas: Quality Assurance, Production, Marketing, Technical Service, Laboratories, Prototypes, Logistics/Purchasing and others.8. Helped develop engineering documentation quality system based on IS0 9001 / 14001 standards. Internal quality auditor.

1. Worked on cost reduction and non-conformities in top load washing machines.2. Reduced costs through revision of engineering specifications for all electrical components (refrigerators and washing machines).3.
