This involved constructing a comprehensive data repository and transitioning all of Choice REIT's current SSRS reports to Power BI reports by reengineering data into a new architectural framework.> Operating within an agile methodology, I facilitated two-week sprints to oversee the general governance and provide consultation during the construction phases of the following components:1). Supervised the team in establishing and configuring a new Azure cloud environment, adhering to common architectural frameworks.2). Spearheaded data pipeline development within the Azure environment, utilizing Azure Synapse and Power BI Premium. Conducted thorough code reviews and upheld code quality standards through a CI/CD process.3). Facilitated the replication and redirection of Power BI reports to the new environment, ensuring alignment with data availability. This encompassed redesigning metadata and conducting extensive report testing.4). Oversaw user acceptance testing and a soak period to validate sprint deliverables.5). Executed deployment in the new environment in parallel with the existing one, optimizing parallel execution and extending the soak period for both environments.6).
