About Nilusha Dore

As a psychotherapist in my own practice as well as at The Oak Centre for Child & Family Psychology, I provide evidence-based and compassionate mental health therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds and needs. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health care industry, with a license with CRPO and a membership in good standing with the OSRP.My core competencies include family therapy, individual therapy, and parent-coaching, with special interests in attachment disruptions, intergenerational trauma and neuropsychology. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy, to help clients heal, cope, and grow. My mission is to empower clients to achieve their personal and relational goals, and to support them in overcoming their challenges and building their resilience.
