Sustainable growth and resilience to climate change are essential factors that the municipal governments are looking into now that climate change is much more visible than before. Several municipal governments joined in a municipal asset management program to manage and improve the infrastructures based on the available assets. Some of my responsibilities during the progression of this project are field work and data collection, corporate GHG analysis and documentation, applications of GIS, hydrology and hydraulics modelling, and risk management.

I studied numerous aspects of occupational health and safety in the fishery and aquaculture industry. As a part of a much bigger joint project from Ocean Frontier and SafetyNet at Memorial University, the rest of the team and I focused on noise pollution in the fishery and aquaculture, regulations, and safety practices in the facilities. The results were reported to 4 of the fish farms in Newfoundland, and relevant advice was attached. My studies also extracted and compared regulation in the European Union, The United States, and Canada as a part of the project.

When I was offered to join the RDES family in 2014 (www.tomercenter.com), it was a small institution that provided educational consultation to help the high school and college students to excel in their education in the universities in Iran. The company had 5 employees and only 9 applicants/students. My job was to have meetings with the students, assess their needs, identify their passion and potential, and based on their goal, to help them to get on the right track.During the first year, I had the chance to expanded my knowledge and explore the potentials and opportunities to expand our services. During the next four years, our goal and driving factors were to expand our services to help the applicants who wanted to go abroad, become the most recognized local institution and then, compete with other recognized education and consultation institutions in Iran.I established new connections and affiliations numerous universities abroad by personally visiting the presidents, vice presidents and foreign affairs of the universities. RDES became a trusted representative and an agent of well-recognized universities in Turkey (Ankara University, Yedi Yus Yil, Yedi Tepe, ...) and Cyprus (Eastern Mediterranean University, Near East University, and Cyprus International University). I also pursued and signed contracts with our peer institutions in Ukraine and China.Today, after years of smart and hard work of all the staff and team members, RDES is a multinational institution with branches in the UK, Iran, Turkey, and China, with over 80 employees and over 1500 applicants every year. The institution is the sole and official representative of the foreign language school of Urmia University (www.rdesacademy.com), with 3 branches in Iran.RDES also provides preparation programs and course packages for language tests (IELTS, TOEFL, GOETHE, TOMER), and universities' entrance exams (SAT, GRE, YOS).
