About Nima Nader

I am a staff scientist at NIST in Boulder, CO. I am a physicist with a strong background in photonic integrated circuits, ultrafast laser sciences, and nonlinear optical interactions. I have a comprehensive skill set in numerical modeling, design, fabrication, and testing of nonlinear photonic waveguides, passive and active integrated photonic components, chip-integrated semiconductor lasers. My current research interest lies in development of a broad range of new technologies for quantum photonics, chip-scale nonlinear photonics, and heterogeneously integrated semiconductor lasers to realize fully monolithic integrated photonics platforms. We apply these technologies to larger projects requiring state-of-the art technologies such as loophole-free Bell inequality measurements, and optical clocks.
