Imagine being asked for by name when there’s the perfect opportunity for you.By people who already know who you are, know that you are their solution, & won’t fight back when they hear your price.Sound good?It is.This isn't a pie-in-the-sky dream; it can be your reality, not the reserve of people who are renowned. In fact, you know something they don’t:Being famous where it counts is what counts. You seek influence, not being an influencer.Taking ownership of your expertise is vital.Communicating with impact & influence is key.You focus on what the person you want a YES from wants.Which means you are noticed & remembered.Which means you attract opportunities.Which means you make more money.Simple in theory, but incredibly challenging to implement.I’ve worked with multinationals, global organisations, & governments - by invitationbecause a decision maker who had a problem knew me, or was told about me.I get to talk about communication, credibility, & authority because of decades spent on global TV, as a columnist, consultant & stages across the worldchairing, moderating, interviewing, & training people running companies & countries to excel at it.Almost all faced the same challenges.Which meant missed opportunities. This is where The BRILLIANT Communicator Club helps. It’s a community for experts who know that being a recognised authority means they build the business & life they desire. Here’s what happens:Phase 1We package your expertise based on your 3 Ws: Who your Ideal Client is, What Problem you solve, & Why they’d choose You. We use this to position you as the trusted go-to expert in your field.Phase 2We expand your credibility footprint & get your digital agents to work for you 24/7 -for free, attracting the right opportunities for you while you sleep. You get plug & play templates to communicate your expertise with impact & influence - every time. Plus:Phase 3Your interactions become a deliberate business strategy, in a way that expands your authority at warp speed, & drives results, with zero extra effort by you.It works by combining your credibility, how to communicate with impact, & systems. But it doesn’t stop there:You’ll have weekly Office Hours with me, where you can ask questions LIVE & get my full support.Plus, you access regular Workshops where we implement The Blueprint to establish you as the go-to expert in your field. Finally, you get help structuring your Assets, & building your Credibility Footprint.Sound good?Great.DM me “EXPERT” & I’ll send you the full details.

FounderShe Strategy Jan 2020 - Present2 things happened in 2019 that led me to create SHE Strategy: Getting women Seen Heard Equal.Walking into a room to train the bosses of a global organisation, set to participate in a global annual event they were sponsoringI'd be prepping them for panel discussions, media interviews, communication in general, cementing their authority & influenceOnly this time it was differentThere was a woman in the room.VP of a significant money generating region.Only her genius wasn't in the spotlight - she was being rolled out as the token woman on a diversity panelShe was damned‘Yes’ meant being compromised. ‘No'= not a team player.I said that if I was in the audience, I’d ask a question that'd reveal everything: Was she paid the same as her male peers? The silence was the answerThis powerful, clever woman could not advocate for herself. She didn’t have the tools to negotiate, & get out of the situationA couple of days later - a coincidence - I was chairing an event for a mega corp, the UN’s first HeForShe signatories in their field. Their mandate: X more women managers by 2030I thought it was brilliant. The women in the room didn’t. They didn’t put their hands up to say ‘Pick me!’SHE Strategy was born. A system of thinking, writing, speaking, to get women Seen Heard Equal.Corporates were slow to find the money for it - unlike when they approached me to train their top exec’s.+ I realised the women who joined - who got amazing results - were having to do the coursework on top of their job.The brutal truth is that the corporate world doesn’t care. That’s when I realised I'd have more impact working with people brave enough to step into their next successgetting them known as the go-to experts in their field.Direct contact + up front payment. The BRILLIANT Communicator was founded:Passing on everything I know & do in actionable ‘can do’ chunks.'cos who gets the opportunity & the money? The expertwho isThe BRILLIANT communicator. -
FounderFinding Nima Limited Jan 2016 - PresentI was in demand, flying across the world training people at the top of their game to communicate with impact and influencecollaborating with government initiatives on thought leadershipSpeaking, chairing, and moderating events and conferences.Clients include: The UN, UNDP, PwC, EY, Medtronic, Accenture, Investcorp, Global Media Forum to name a few.It was all by invitation A great thing - to an extentThe problem is that if you're not careful, you end up becoming the go-to person for what others want from you,not what you want for yourself.I founded Finding Nima Limited to replace MZone LLC as the umbrella for the work I was doing which all pivoted oncommunicating with impact and influence.I decided that I wanted to work with people, and enable them to become known for their expertise, and earn more from itrather than primarily responding to requests that fed into the corporate world profiting more At the end of 2019, I embarked on creating systems to help people communicate with impact & influence - starting with women, because of 2 things:I was usually the only woman in my circles.Women are more likely to die broke. And the two issues are connected... My mission come 2020 was to enable women to showcase their brilliance, and get more of them alongside the men I worked with.Finding Nima Limited is still my umbrella - and houses brands and programmes I went on to create since forming it. Like SHE Strategy and The BRILLIANT Communicator. -
Advisory Board MemberGuildford School Of Acting Nov 2018 - Dec 2021Talk about a powerful communication tool! Acting enhances nonverbal and vocal skills, fosters empathy, strengthens storytelling, boosting confidence, and so much more!Which is part of the reason I said yes to the invitation to join the University of Surrey's Guildford School of Acting Advisory Board. The many plans to expand the offering to diverse students, cut costs, create industry links, and facilitate more employment were curtailed by the pandemic. But it was fun, fantastic, and fabulously energising while it lasted.Humans are amazing. The power of imagination, of what we can do with our bodies and minds, and of taking people on a journey alongside us, is incredible. -
ColumnistThe National News Jan 2014 - Jul 2020I wrote a weekly column about money and life for the UAE's flagship newspaper for years. We're talking hundreds of articles. My personal interest is enabling people to live a deliberate life. Which starts with taking the time to define what they wantand what they don't want. What gives them 'life'and what will break them. And then working backwards to settle on the role of money in their lifeand their behaviour with it.Our daily behaviour with money takes us a step towards what we wantor many steps away from it.I have a special interest in what I call 'practical, can-do' stuff, simplifying complicated issues and digging out information that no one tells us - because, well, very very few know about it.Like: A 90 year study of 26,000 companies that found that the 10 % returns on stocks in the USA was due to the exceptional performance of FOUR % of them. Most lose you money. And: Women are more likely to die broke - even high earners. The reason I want you to be a bloody brilliant communicator is because they're the people who are paid moreraise morehave more.Imagine being brilliant at getting across what you want, need, and do. That's how you skyrocket your chances of staying sane, solvent, and sustaining your version of 'success'.Which is why I am leaning into enabling people to be BRILLIANT communicators and will be doing more on money and life when the time is right...My hope is that when you know what you are up against - financially and you realise that being able to communicate brilliantly changes your realityyou will embrace the notion of earning more from what you already knowand building out the life that you love. -
FounderCashy Feb 2009 - Sep 2016I've always been interested in money. Not acquiring it - but what you can do with it& what it can do for you.I started a bank when I was 10. Writing out & stapling together every deposit book, & setting aside my dark green money box as the deposit vault. Then I got busy with work & life. When the 2008 crisis was unfolding, I was going through a financial trauma of my own - I didn't realise it at the time - which is part of the subconscious impetus that got me to focus on money & lifeI created a platform to help people get to grips withthe role of money in their lifehow they want to livedecisions they can make to be 'safe' & solvent.www.cashy.me was a fabulous portalalongside it, I 'birthed' UAE Saves Week in 2013A grass roots practical initiative helping people change their behaviour around money. It ran for 7 days each year.I enabled many to downsize, deal with debt, pivot to new careers, become unstuck, & start living as they want.People hugged me in the streets.I ran UAE Saves Week, which trended on social media, for 2 years. I was changing people's lives. But my life was tough.I was still anchoring the weekly BBC World business & finance programme - traveling to location to interview and filmTraining the C-suite - traveling for that tooChairing & moderating mega events & conferences - & travelling for that. And creating, delivering, & managing cashy.me & UAE Saves Week. Not pretty.Plus I'd been approached to write a weekly column for the UAE's flagship newspaper about money and life... which I did from 2014 till 2020. Hundreds of articles about money & life.I am an expert in behavioural economics. I am a vault of little known money realities & facts.Knowing how we want to live dictates what we do with moneyBut we're not given the space or tools to figure it out.I want you to decide how you want to live & work& earn more from what you know.At the core is: knowing how to communicate what you want, need, & do.

Presenter & Broadcast JournalistBbc News Jun 2003 - Mar 2015As the face of the BBC World programme “Middle East Business Report,” I covered the uprisings and revolutions in the Middle East, the boom bust cycle of the region’s economies, the fallout from global events and more. My turf was Iran to Morocco, Turkey to Sudan. No two weeks were the same. A travel bag packed and at the ready, because we filmed on-location, and travelled a heck of a lot.I interviewed presidents of countries, royalty, heads of business, taxi drivers, the unemployed and those revolting on the street. They were historic times, with so much happening - it's only in looking back that I realise how significant that time was - not only because of the region covered and what happened on my watch, but also because it was the first, and only programme of its kind - in the world.A potential viewership of circa 300 million people.20+ countries to cover. No one will understand what it takes to create this sort of programme. The relentless need to fill the programme every week of the yearbeing let down and being elated - sometimes at the same timeexperiencing countries and issues in a unique, never to be repeated waylugging kit and geardesperate for water and the loo (in places there was neither)and hanging on with your fingernails as a crazy cab driver hurtles you to the airport and you're egging him on (even when the exhaust hits the tarmac and drags along)because you want.to.catch.that.flight.Wow - what a ride. -
ColumnistForbes Jun 2006 - Jun 2008I was approached by Forbes Arabia to write a monthly column in Arabic (yes I can write in Arabic)"Nima's Insight" (it doesn't translate so well) was where I shared my thoughts and opinions about issues I was covering, interviews I'd conducted, places I'd been for the BBC programme I anchored.Like the lived realities of poverty stricken people in Yemen, Morocco, Syria. The economies of the region. And my thoughts around money and life.It was during this time that my interest in people, not those in power, and the financial truth they faced started to dominate once moreAn aside: I have always been interested in 'money and life' - starting with creating my first bank - a 'forced' collective for siblings when I was around 10. The safe was a green money box - that I still have!My stint writing my Forbes column coincided with the global financial meltdown I realised that the majority of people in the Gulf - I lived in Dubai at the time - were supporting many others back homeand that something 'bad' would happen if job losses and financial strife continued.I decided I was much more interested in people, than those who governand started creating output to help people deal with, understand, manage, make deliberate decisions about the money in their lifehow they want to live their lifeWhat I didn't realise was the I too was going through a financial crisis - I was being slowly defrauded of my savings - a 7 figure amount I'd not spent purely because I was working so much that I had no time to!I find I throw myself into more work when my brain is working something outand that I create output that is directly the result of the issue I am grappling with. Think of it as self-help, by inventing the solution - for others.Cashy.me was born. An English Arabic platform enabling people to 'manage their money, live their life'. -
General Member BoardWorld Congress Of History Producers May 2005 - May 2006What an amazing organisation. It represented people who produce fact-based programmes. Be they school videos, documentaries, or Hollywood blockbusters. My highlight was the annual gathering that took place in Canada Sessions I chaired included the typical focus on 'bias' vs well, what? Let's be frank, this is no getting rid of bias- because we're human. The conversation that will stay with me was my speaking with the then head of the History Channel, and suggesting something other than World War documentaries.I'll never forget the reply: with a straight face, he shared that they had polled their viewers, ,and the resounding answer was that they wanted the war documentaries. No sh@* Sherlock. If that's what you supply, and poll the people watching, of course you'll come back with a self-perpetuating, justifying, and fulfilling conclusion.Aside from this limiting interaction, the people who were part of this organisation were phenomenal.

General Member BoardArab Thought Foundation Jan 2005 - Jan 2006I accepted the invitation to join the Foundation because I liked the people involved - let's be honest...plus, I liked the ethos of spreading knowledge, encourage creativity, and looking to uplift and 'better' the lot of the Arab citizen.Too little practical, reality based initiatives are formed. Little wonder the Arab world erupted in revolution soon after...
