With over Seven years of work experience in the environmental chemistry field, I am a passionate and dedicated Senior Laboratory Analyst at Bureau Veritas Group, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. My core competencies include coordinating laboratory projects, developing SOPs and general work instructions, validating data outputs, and training and mentoring the junior staff. I am driven by the mission of ensuring the safety, quality, and sustainability of the environment and the products and services that affect it. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I am fluent in three languages and have an Educational background in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Mcmaster University.In my current role as a senior laboratory analyst, I am responsible for analyzing drinking water, wastewater, and regulatory water samples for inorganic tests, using different inorganic testing systems, such as TOC analyzer, FIA, colorimetry, etc. I also provide feedback to the supervisor regarding the SOPs and CTA, conduct regular MDL (Method Development Limit) studies for the instruments, prepare reagents, handle hazardous and caution samples, and perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the instruments.
