My other responsibilities include Manpower & Material planning, Training, Safety, Housekeeping, P.M. activities and coordination with the cross functional departments like material and quality department. During this period, I have distinguished contributions in managing the entire gamut of production operations efficiently and achieved superior quality benchmarks by implementing quality tools and system like TPM, Kaizen, 5S, etc. Generated cost advantages and optimized resources by enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment and proactively troubleshooting technical issues and reducing breakdowns. I have demonstrated abilities in scheduling preventive and breakdown maintenance, reduced the maintenance costs through my initiatives and fulfilled the operational requirements by ensuring flawless transitions, expansions and any other changes as per the specifications and circumstances. I have been instrumental in implementing operational improvement and defining processes for ensuring achievement of organizational goals. Worked on ORACLE (R12) based ERP system for Production Reporting; WIP Planning & Inventory control (RIP). Apart from this ensured compliance with the HSE rules and promoted awareness regarding the safety rules, organized in house training at the shop floor level, fostered team orientation and a collaborative work environment and achieved the production targets consistently. Key Highlights:• Reduced zinc scrap level• Designed and implemented a frame for holding Mix drums (Buggies) for reducing Mix spillage on floor.• Generated cost saving and saved down time as well by modifying design of a spindle of Zinc Can trimmer m/c. • As a Subassembly in-charge achieved subassembly preparedness of 95% resulting in running the integrated line at 93% efficiency with 99.9% yield.
