As “Programme Officer” in Rural Development Department, Kashmir for over 10 years, I have taken charge of the following responsibilities and initiatives:- Preparation of Block level plans after consolidating all permissible/ feasible works. - Getting the estimates prepared for works.- Monitoring and supervising all the works taken in each village/ halqa.- Ensuring payment of wages for both skilled as well as unskilled labour.- Maintaining proper accounts of funds received, released and utilised. - Ensuring that proper uploading of Management Information systems is done.- Release of funds works wise against proper work done claims/ bills.

As a temporary disaster management officer during the 2014 Kashmir floods, I aided my community by:Preparing the reports and plans for short term and long term relief and rehabilitation of flood victims.Worked as a volunteer on the ground to ensure delivery of necessary support and resources, distributing relief material among flood victims in Srinagar as well as in rural areas. Coordinated with other governmental, NGO, and volunteer bodies to reach out to the people trapped inside their houses and hotels to ensure timely delivery of necessary resources and ensuring adequate medical attention where necessary.

Worked as Consultant for the International Department. Handled contract negotiations worth several thousand dollars successfully with International clients.I handled meetings with “Awakening Records” London, a famous international label that, among others, handles the business of famous singer Maher Zain.I focused on taking feedback from the clients and getting it incorporated into the company's plans

Worked as Business Development Executive and was involved in arranging trainings in 21st century skills, providing technical assistance to trainers.Other tasks involved in recruiting, orientation and placement programs. Head-hunting for level-1 and level-2 positions, screening resumes and conducting preliminary interviews

Worked as Business Development Executive for six months.Participated in client interactions for knowledge transfer, updates, and review meetings.Interacted with the market research team for generating the prospect list and campaign execution.
