I've had experience in all forms of writing, technical, academic, editorial, creative, etc., as well as experience in editing all of these forms. Through my internship with The Borgen Project, I learned specifically about research and the professional writing environment. I have a great passion for social injustice and would like to work further in my advocacy efforts. I focus my articles towards gender studies and global gender inequality. Specifically, I wrote about crimes of honor and gender inequality in the Middle East in articles for The Borgen Project. I was, and continue to be passionate about advocating for justice and equality for marginalized groups. As a woman, I've faced discrimination and injustice and would like to further champion women's status around the world. I have publications in SHARE Literary Journal, The Borgen Magazine, the Front Street Journal, Her Campus, and Shoofly Literary Journal. My fictional short story, originally published in SHARE, was chosen for Plain China's Best Undergraduate Writing Edition for 2021.I am currently seeking a full-time writing or editing position for a magazine or publishing company.
