Current1. Strategic Planning and Delivery: Ensuring the full engagement of both trustees and senior executives, I collaborate on the development and execution of the organisation's strategic goals. This role involves integrating operational, planning, and project management expertise across diverse business strategies, policies, and projects. I ensure all work undertaken by the association is aligned with both short-term and long-term objectives, contributing to the successful delivery of the association's strategy.Playing a pivotal role in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation, I contribute to maintaining the organisation's financial health.2. Leadership and Management: I consistently strive to be a robust and motivating leader to our >50 staff members, including direct reports from different association departments. I leverage emotional intelligence to cultivate a supportive and high-achieving workplace. I foster teamwork, communication, and coordination across departments, promoting coordination and synergy across often very different functional areas. This alignment is critical for the cohesive pursuit of overarching goals.3. Organisational Development: I have a proven track record in delivering organisational transformation, influencing cultural change, and managing transitions, including upward management to meet trustee needs. 4. Representing the Organisation: Serving as a representative of the organisation in external matters, such as partnerships, collaborations, or public relations / media activities, I project a strong consistent message to internal and external stakeholders.5. Operational Efficiency: Monitoring and enhancing operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness is central to my role. Additionally, I provide governance oversight, ensuring compliance with health and safety, data protection, and HR legislation through the creation and maintenance of our policy suite.
