My name is Nina Koestering from Bad Bederkesa (Germany). I studied Tourism Management on a Bachelor level at the Stenden University of Applied Science in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. From January till May 2014 I was on exchange at the Arctic Univeristy of Norway, at the Campus Alta. Here I took the courses of Intercultural Communications, Winter Outdoor Activities, Listening and Speaking, Natural resource based businesses and industries and a Norwegian Language Class. During my studies I also had an internship as international guest services with Norwegian Cruise Line of twice 4 month on the Norwegian Jade. Afterwards I worked from December 2015 till April 2017 as International Guest Services and as Embarkation and clearance officer on different ships for Norwegian Cruise Line. Now I will start my Maritime studies to become a captain someday.Before my studies I finished school in Germany and went to New Zealand for a year work & travel. In this sense I worked in a restaurant and a hostel. During school and still now I am very involved in voluntary activities such as our communal voluntary fire station, camping trips from the protestant church and giving tennis training for the local sports club. My passions are sport, especially wintersports, traveling and cooking. I would describe myself as open-minded, helpful, trustworthy and generouse.
