Technical drawing and site implementation

I became the proud owner of NOA Interiors in 2010 and handle hospitality and residential projects independently. From design development, to technical drawing and ordering and procurement, I project managed each of my clients' jobs to the very last detail, until completion and ultimate satisfaction.

• I handle client briefs where I meet with the client and take initial instruction for their wishes for their new project• I then put together a provisional budget for the client’s acceptance. • I then take a look at the space planning of the site and come up with a concept to present to the client• With the clients approval of the concept I start implementing the concept into the layout. • Then I produce a full set of technical drawings, including plans, elevations, section and details as well as door schedules and finishes schedules that correlate with these drawings. • Once all is approved orders are placed and I project manage the site through the whole installation.• Once the installation is practically complete, including all building work, joinery and furniture, I start snagging the project and ensure that everything is satisfactory by final completion.• During the snagging process I put together an objet and artwork selection to present to client, with prices lead times. Once approved I oversee the installation of both.

• I met with clients to understand the brief and objectives for the finished product.• I then did conceptual 3D drawings and sketches to explain the desired look we wish to achieve.• Once, the concept was accepted by the client, I started doing technical drawings on AutoCAD and got estimates for the client.• Whilst the technical side was being covered, I sourced timber, sanware, lighting, flooring and soft furnishings and put a scheme together.• When all quotes and technical drawings were signed off, I placed orders with relevant suppliers.• During the building process I managed the site from inception of the project, to installation and then, snags.

• I met with clients to again gain knowledge about their ideal kitchen and other joinery in their houses. • I would do 3D drawings, using Winner, which gave the client an idea of finishes and layout in 3D. • Once the client was happy I did production drawings and cutting lists for production in our factory. • I also ordered of tops, appliances and accessories.

• During this time I was directly in contact with the client, dealt with contractors and have built up a network of suppliers. • I supplied the client with a scheme or theme, if you will, for each individual Primi. • I based my layout and specialized furniture around this theme.• Together with a full set of working drawings, I presented story boards with samples of finishes and softs selected for the look. • I sourced soft furnishings, fabrics, flooring, wall treatments, sanware and light fixtures.
