With over 18 years of experience in journalism and psychology, I am a passionate and dedicated clinical psychologist who works with oncology patients at Klinik Gais. I have a master's degree in clinical psychology and neuroscience from the University of Basel, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Universitäre Fernstudien Schweiz. I also have a higher national diploma in journalism from the MAZ-Die Schweizer Journalistenschule, and I have been an editor and project manager for fairunterwegs.org, a platform for sustainable travel, since 2006. I have strong research and Photoshop skills, which I use to create engaging and informative content for fairunterwegs.org, as well as to support my clinical work. My core competencies include providing psychological assessment, intervention, and support for oncology patients and their families, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals. My mission is to help oncology patients cope with their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, and to promote their well-being and quality of life. I am also interested in the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and journalism, and how they can inform each other and contribute to social change.
