“You're different” is a recurring phrase I have heard since childhood. And I still do. All my life, people have had trouble defining me. Not in a bad way. It is just hard for them to put me in a box. Growing up, that wasn’t always easy. Today, I understand it’s my biggest strength.I don’t like being put in a box. I don’t like putting others in boxes either. I’m a relentless optimist, highly value accountability, and don’t shy away from difficult conversations. I find it inspiring to be presented with different perspectives. And I’m good at finding connections and common ground among individuals and groups. I have understood that being different gives me the freedom to choose who I want to be according to my own values and beliefs. It also allows me to connect with a large variety of people, and to understand different sides and perspectives without judgment. Most of all, it has confirmed my deep-rooted conviction that most people mean well, and that it is the way they relate to themselves and others that will determine their wellbeing and success. Today, through the Resilience Training Institute, I train leaders and teams to connect with their inner strengths and navigate challenges with purpose. With the intention to contribute to a more inclusive and resilient world.In my free time, I teach Self Defense and Krav Maga. I love seeing people discover their power! Physically and mentally.
